As the lead for Sky’s Entertainment division of over 20 channels (including news, movies, arts, entertainment, travel as well as third party channel counsel) Rich spearheaded the drive to build Sky’s reputation beyond sport, to drive a significant growth in subscriptions.
Combining consumer and corporate focus and leading a team of 18, Rich oversaw industry-leading activations and launches for Sky’s original shows and major US acquisitions as well as leading creative brand campaigns for arts, movies and travel, including the cultural phenomenon original Blue Monday stunt and many more.
Through a long-term proactive thought-leadership strategy, he helped build Sky’s reputation for high quality content within the sector, tackling and overcoming previous media hostility.
